Over and Acting Background From 1981-1983, she was a Drama/Speech major at Lincoln Park High School in Chicago where she studied Inprovisation and acting. There she appeared in "Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon" (Gregory) and was a member of the Forensics Team in the Prose category. Cynthia and two other students won first place in the Acting category in the Chicago Public Schools' "Stages of Shakespeare" contest for portraying the three witches scene in "Macbeth." She also won awards in the Extemporaneous Speech category in other Chicago Public Schools competitions. In 1983,
Cynthia appeared in the Skokie J.C.C.'s production of "South Pacific"
(Nurse Sue Yeager). When she attended Northern Illinois University, she
appeared in the chorus of "Carnival." She studied Oral Interpretation
and participated on the Debate Team winning the Semi-Finals in the CETA
curcuit at a debate tournament at the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana. Her voice-over career started when she worked at KCSM-TV (PBS) as she voiced several promotional spots for special theme months and special programming blocks. She also voiced an underwriting spot for the sixth season of the public television series, "Sit and Be Fit."
