MoneyTrack
Your Guide to Investing and Protecting Your Money

Welcome to MoneyTrack, the national public television series that teaches viewers how to invest wisely and avoid common financial scams. The first season of the series has aired on over 180 stations nationwide and continues to be broadcast in major cities throughout the country.

MoneyTrack is co-hosted by former TechTV financial reporter Pam Krueger and nationally-recognized comedian Jack Gallagher. Using humor and a more “relaxed” approach, Pam and Jack banter with one another and guide viewers through a variety of “mini” investing lessons that come in the form of such show segments as Money Minute, Scam Alert, and Investing 101. In each 30-minute episode, the show tackles the basics of saving, investing, and overall money management that will hopefully, show viewers that they do not need to know everything about the business world or Wall Street in order to retire and live well.

Now, in its second season, MoneyTrack features lifestyle-driven segments using real people who overcome real financial hurdles to become successful investors. Fifteen new episodes are scheduled to begin airing on public television stations across the country in the spring of 2007.

Women of Tibet:Gyalyum Chemo
The Great Mother

Women of Tibet: Gyalyum Chemo-The Great Mother

In English and Tibetan with English subtitle. This
quietly provocative, deeply moving documentary relates the story of the woman who gave birth to His Holiness the Dalai Lama to illuminate the idea that a loving, compassionate and fierce feminine aspect lives within each of us. Through interviews, commentary, rare footage and photographs, director Rosemary Rawcliffe tells the story of Gyalyum
Chemo, known as the Great Mother, who gave birth to 16 children, led her family to safety during the Communist Chinese invasion and inspired one of today's most important spiritual leaders and advocate for world peace. His Holiness, family members and friends, including Jetsun Pema, Diki Surkhang, Dr. Marion Woodman, Alice Walker, and Angeles Arrien, speak about the often invisible yet ever-powerful impact of a mother's love, revealing the importance of the Great
Mother archetype and its relevance today.

As the Dalai Lama says in the film: "A mother is the most important part of building a healthy family, and that means a heathy humanity."

Oil on Ice

Oil on Ice

Oil on Ice is important because it gives the viewer a visually stunning and emotionally compelling account of the issues regarding the drilling of the Alaska Wildlife Refuge for oil. The film examines how the decisions we make today affect the Native Alaskans’ culture and subsistence way of life, Alaska’s migratory wildlife and ecosystem and our nation’s energy future. Viewers need to have a contextual understanding of this issue because it affects all Americans.
