Zeiden Media is a media company that was established in February 2000 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California, U.S.A. The overall mission of the company is to bring the people of the world together with the one universal tool, Television. In this day in age, "Television" means much more than Broadcasting. There are many new delivery systems in our midst: Broadband, Interactive Television, High Definition Television, Mulitcasting/Multiplexing, Video On Demand, etc. What remains the common element is the actual content. The fact that more delivery systems exist means that there will be a need for more programming and the content can be more international because the new delivery systems are not limited by geography anymore.

Cynthia Zeiden, President and Founder of Zeiden Media, believes that people of different cultures have major knowledge gaps about one another that makes it difficult, if not impossible, to build relationships and knock down the walls that exist. Media content, in any delivery mode, can help cultures understand one another. Media is an artifact of the society that created it. We can watch films made in the 1950's and see how people in those times dressed, spoke, behaved, etc. A film about China made by American producers could not be similar to a film about China made by Chinese producers. The mission of Zeiden Media is to deliver media from all over the world to homes globally so people can begin to understand.

Zeiden Media is a company that partners with content providers whether independent producer or foreign network to package content for the widest distribution possible. Providing strategies for the most relevant venue for each project, developing fundraising materials, providing funding leads, contacting leads, making distribution deals, selling completed programs, arranging co-productions and establishing new programming networks to speak to the international audience. This is the charge of Zeiden Media.

To strengthen the mission of Zeiden Media, Cynthia Zeiden, makes presentations at international television conferences to educate professionals in the Media field about the practices of professionals in other countries. She recently spoke at the Broadcast Worldwide 2001 in Pusan, Korea, and the Korean Cultural Animation Screening Reception at NATPE 2002.
